William Allan (Bill) Regan died peacefully at home in Conway, MA, on January 7, 2023. The cause was complications of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). Bill was born in Arlington, MA, on August 26, 1937, to Marion Elizabeth (Peoples) Regan and William Thomas Regan. Bill was an artist who earned a BFA at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and an MFA at Goddard College. During the 1960s and '70s, Bill taught art at several public schools in Connecticut and Massachusetts, including Barnstable High School. Subsequently, he became a substance abuse counselor and worked in a variety of settings.
Bill leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Jane Roy Brown; four children from his previous marriage to the late Carolyn (McCord) Regan: Marc Regan, Teri Regan, Jeffrey Regan, and Michael Regan; eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
