Anyone who knew my father knew that he was outgoing and loved to laugh. He was very active with many outdoor activities – mini bikes, motorcycles, mopeds, snowmobiles, sailing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, fishing, and so much more. He was a graduate of Ludlow High School then enlisted in the Army National Guard. He graduated from Western New England College with a bachelor’s degree. He was an accountant for 25 years and left accounting to work in partnership with his wife Joan in their business “Clean-Brite Carpet Cleaners”. He was one of the elders at the West Springfield Church of Christ where he enjoyed preaching and working with the youth in the church for many years before his retirement. After retirement, he and Joan moved from Agawam to Otis Reservoir where they lived for 25 years. They continued outdoor activities – boating, snowmobiling and riding their mopeds and started construction on a train set that took the whole 2nd floor of their home. He loved to sit outside listening to old country and gospel music with his popcorn and root beer.
My dad and mom touched the hearts of many, and their memory has forever left a footprint in all of our hearts and our lives.
Our family greatly appreciates all of your overwhelming love and support during this time.
