Wanda Ann Seile Rogala, age 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Baystate Hospital in Springfield, Mass. She was born on October 11, 1952, in Natick, Massachusetts to Louise Evelyn (Nickerson) and George Francis Seile Sr.
Wanda was a 1970 graduate of Lee High School and continued her education studying Visual Arts at Berkshire Community College. She went on to work as a toll booth collector for the Massachusetts Turnpike for several years, where she met her future husband, Alan. The two were married in 1997 and for twenty-five years resided in Ludlow, Mass. Later, Wanda would transition from the turnpike into the medical field as a billing representative for Holyoke Hospital and Riverbend Medical.
Wanda truly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, baking, gardening, reading and painting. She had a deep love for animals, but her real passion was found collecting WWII aviation memorabilia alongside her husband.
She will be remembered for embodying the best of qualities, an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her family, strength of spirit, and unconditional love, as she would accept everyone with an open heart, open arms and a perpetual smile.
Wanda was an amazing Mother to Jaimie (Scott) Roy; dedicated grandmother to Christopher, Trent, William and Maximus; loving sister to Anita (Rafael) Seile-Segura and George "Frank" Francis Seile Jr; and caring Aunt to Josh (Amanda) Seile, Shon (Jennifer) Seile, and Shannon Seile.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Arrangements were made under the care of the Williamsburg Funeral Home, https://www.hampshirecremation.com/
