Richard Stallman passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022. Born in Holyoke to the late Jakob and Barbara (Suttner) Stallman. Richard is survived by his wife, Phyllis LaCasse, his step-daughters Laura Leonard (Roger) and Tina Elmer (Rick); a niece Linda Ray (Tom) and nephew Jeffrey Stallman; grandchildren Becky Sicard (Eric), Jimmy Bruner (Zoe), Joshua and Jakob and Jessica Elmer; Great grandchildren Cole and Aloera Bruner, and Bella and Eric Rodrigues; Great nephews Tom Jr and Kevin Ray;
Pre-deceased by his brother Roger Stallman (Geraldine).
Richard was a lifetime member of the Chicopee Sportsman's Club and bowled at the Bowl-o-Drome in Holyoke for well over 40 years.
Family and friends are invited to his burial with full Military Honors will be at MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions in Richard's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
