Richard C. Gurley, Jr.

Richard C. Gurley, Jr. age 71, passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center on Tuesday September 16, 2025.

Richard was the son of Jeanne R. Haley-Gurley and Richard C. Gurley, Sr., born in Springfield Massachusetts on January 31, 1954. 

He is survived by his cherished daughter Stephanie Gurley of New York and his three granddaughters.  Richard is survived by his sister Debra (Gurley) Warren and her husband John of Chicopee, MA as well as his sister Sharlene Pederzani of Troy, OH. 

He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Gail Salemi.  Richards leaves numerous nieces and nephews as well as his beloved dog Rocky and many friends.  Richards was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting.

His family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Medical Center for their compassion during his courageous battle with cancer. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00am at Fairview Memorial Cemetery where he will be laid to rest alongside his mother and sister.
