Patricia H (Redding) Carlin, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on 03/10/2026 at the age of 82 at Holyoke medical center.
She was born on May 6, 1943 in Holyoke Mass to Stephanie & Francis Redding. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave to everyone around her. She dedicated much of her life to her family and took great pride in being a grandmother.
She enjoyed shopping, being a patron at many establishments in Holyoke, making new friends, spending time with family, relaxing at the beach and creating many cherished memories with those who knew her. Her warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor will always be remembered.
She is survived by her Ex Husband Michael Carlin Sr. Her children James Carlin & wife Dinia, Stacie Carlin & husband Kevin, and lastly her youngest daughter Amy Carlin, Predeceased children Cherylann & Michael Carlin Along with her grandchildren, Jennifer Eckhart, Kevin Carlin, James Carlin & wife Brittany, Damian Carrizo, Dominick Rodrigo, Brayden Carlin, Jayden Carlin Predeceased grandchild Jessica Jones great-grandchildren Jordan & Ava Alvarez, August, Autumn & Riley Carlin. along with many other relatives such as her siblings Eileen Donahue, Barbara Poirier (cousin) who was like a sister. Predeceased siblings Francis Jr, David, & Robert Redding and friends who will miss her deeply.
A mass will be held on Friday March 20th 2026 10 am at St. Jerome's Parish 169 Hampden St Holyoke MA. followed by a celebration of life luncheon at the Boathouse 1 Alvord St South Hadley MA. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life followed by a celebratory toast in honor of Patricia's life She will be forever loved and never forgotten. 🕊️ Williamsburg Funeral Home in Haydenville has been entrusted with her service.
