Michael Edward Lopez, 62, passed away on April 23, 2021 at his home in Southampton, MA. Born in Smithtown, NY on May 7, 1959, he was the son of the late Marianne Kropkowski Lopez and Edward M Lopez. He was predeceased by his siblings Anne Marie Burt, Thomas Lopez, and Christopher Lopez. He is survived by his brother Robert Lopez of Agawam and sister Pamela Lopez-Wroth of West Springfield.
People who knew Michael best will remember him as someone with many talents-he could fix anything, build anything, and play, by ear, anything he heard musically. He loved rock and roll music and the Florida beaches.
Williamsburg Funeral Home was entrusted with his cremation. There will be no calling hours and Michael's ashes will be spread in his beloved Atlantic Ocean at a later date. Memorial contributions in Michael's memory can be made to: Angels at Risk, Natural High, Amy Winehouse Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
