At a young age, Joshua admired many genres of music From Jazz, Rock, Southern-rock, Emo, Country and Gospel. Joshua was practically born with a guitar in his hands. When a young teenager, Joshua would make up songs on the guitar, in a short time he would play songs which were at an experienced level .
While in college Piano just happened almost instantly. Well known throughout the Berkshires and much of New England Josha played in many bands such as StealHead, DPR, Shantyman, Outerstylie, MoonDawgz, Pi Rex, and filled in with the band The Alchamistics and played backup for many others. Joshua had taught at Whip City Music and was most recently teaching Piano, Guitar, Bass, Saxophone and Clarinet at the Westfield School of Music. One of Joshua’s gifts was that he was able to connect with all types of people and personalities. He didn’t just play he connected with his audience. He related with those who were hurting and rejoiced with those who were happy. This is probably why he is so loved by the musical community.
