Donald Charles Manley, 70 passed away at the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home of COVID-19. Born on July 25th 1949 he was born to Raymond and Marian Manley. Don was part of the Manley Clan from West Springfield. Don proudly served our country in the United States Army as a Flame Thrower in Vietnam. As heroic as he was to serve our country, he also adopted two American children. Don and his wife provided the boys with a solid foundation which included dirt biking, quading, music and working on engines. Don was a master mechanic for Bassett Boats. Don will be laid to rest with the love of his wife, Kathryn (Taylor) Manley at the Veterans Cemetery in Agawam. He leaves his sons Donald Lee Manley of West Springfield and Aaron Manley. Besides his son Donnie, Don will be greatly missed by his best friend Darlene Woolson of West Springfield. Darlene and Donnie would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at the Soldiers’ Home, especially the caring and compassion on 2 North. All services will be private.
