Darlene M. Roberts passed away on March 27, 2023, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Northampton on June 16, 1959, to Carlton Roberts Jr who passed away in 1989 and her mother Wanda. Darlene graduated from Hampshire Regional High School in Westhampton in 1977. She worked for 38 years at Smith College in food services.
Darlene enjoyed Music, Camping, Crosswords and Cooking for family and friends. She loved hearing the stories about how well her grandchildren Taylor and Cody were doing in Motocross racing and really enjoyed watching them live on TV and sharing how they did with her friends and family.
She was involved with the Women's Auxiliary group at the American Legion post 236 in Haydenville for many years.
Darlene is survived by her life partner of 46 years Timothy Pease of Goshen MA, her daughter Ashley Pease of Plainfield and her partner Matthew Beckwith. Her grandchildren Taylor & Cody Beckwith of Plainfield, her Mother Wanda of Goshen, brothers Edward and his wife Lisa Roberts of Goshen Richard and wife Amy Roberts of Chesterfield a sister Donna and husband Jeffrey Hewes of Goshen. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her dad Carlton Roberts Jr. and Godson Tyler C. Hewes.
A celebration of life for Darlene will be held on September 9 2023 - 11-4pm at Pettingill memorial field ( Cummington ball field)
