Carol VanOudenhove 1967-2026

Carol A. VanOudenhove, 59, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on March 24, 2026. Born on January 13, 1967, in Northampton, Carol built a warm and loving home in Chicopee, where she raised her two children, Nicolaas Eaton and Danielle Eaton.

Carol was a devoted mother whose children were the center of her world. She was known for her kindness, her warmth, and sharp humor. Her ability to feel deeply and keep loving through lifes difficult moments will be remembered as a testament to her strength. She lived with an open and honest heart. She welcomed friends and family with open arms, often with a warm meal and a comforting presence that made everyone feel at home. Those who knew her will remember her playful humor, her generous spirit, and the sense of peace she brought into their lives.

She is predeceased by her parents William and MaryJane VanOudenhove. She is survived by her children, Nicolaas Eaton and Danielle Eaton and her siblings, Kathleen VanOudenhove, William VanOudenhove Jr, Amy VanOudenhove, and Jeffrey VanOudenhove, all of whom will miss her deeply.

Her love remains with us always. A memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at The Congressional Church 112 Main St Easthampton, MA. From 11:00 - 1:00 p.m.
