Brent Oliver Roberts Jr. ("Robbie"), age 64, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 28, 2026, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Born on July 23rd, 1962 in Northampton Massachusetts. He attended Goshen Center School and Hampshire Regional High School. A beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Robbie was surrounded by the love of his family and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Robbie was predeceased by his father, Brent Oliver Roberts Sr. Growing up, he learned many of his best skills from his father. Together they worked in the sawmill, where Robbie became an accomplished sawyer, a trade he continued for most of his life. A true jack of all trades, he could fix just about anything. Robbie was known for his outgoing personality, infectious laugh, and warm smile that could brighten any room. He had a fun-loving spirit, was always ready to make people laugh, and was often the life of the party. Robbie loved and adored his grandson Hank.Â
Robbie loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing on the lake with his brother-in-law, Phil. He also had a passion for cooking and enjoyed preparing home-cooked meals while experimenting with new recipes and flavors for family and friends. He also made his homemade apple cider, that’s still fermenting today. Robbie also enjoyed pulling oxen at the local county fairs with his father.Â
Robbie is survived by his beloved mother, Brenda Roberts of Goshen, Massachusetts; his brother, Brian H. Roberts and his wife, Joyceline Roberts, of Bedford, New Hampshire; and his sister, Belinda Gould and her husband, Philip Gould from Westhampton, Massachusetts.Â
He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Felicia Gould and her fiancé, Robert Howard, along with their children, Nathan Michael and Jasmine Rose Howard; Haley Viamari and her husband, Bobbe Viamari, along with their children, Alexander Kane, Destiny Rose, and soon-to-be Matthew Brent Viamari; Jacob Gould; and Justin Gould and his fiancé, Haleigh Pensivy.
Robbie leaves behind his good friend and son in law, Rick Allard, father to Robbie's precious grandson Hank Allard.Â
Robbie is survived by many cherished friends and cousins, all of whom will remember him for his kindness, laughter, and the joy he brought to their lives, along with the many dear friends whose lives were enriched by his friendship, laughter, and generous spirit.Â
Robbie is also survived by his daughters, Valerie Roberts and Hillary Stafford, and his grandchildren.  Â
There will be no calling hours at this time. His burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.Â
