Nancy Marsh of Agawam passed peacefully on Friday, September 27, with her sisters, Beverly and Kathy, by her side. She was 67. Raised in West Springfield, she was the daughter of John Francis and Claire Marsh. Nancy leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Bob Breveglieri of Ormond Beach, Florida; her sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Dan Crowley of Northbridge; her niece, Kristen Aguiar and her husband Tony and great niece, Maeve of Grafton, and her Godson and nephew, Daniel Crowley of New York.
Nancy enjoyed working with people and after graduating from West Springfield High School, her first job was with the West Springfield Town Hall. She later joined Westbank as a bank teller, and then worked at the Federal Hill Club in Agawam. Her experience there lead her to become the Banquet Manager for many years at the Marriott Hotel in Springfield. Nancy most enjoyed her career at the Reminder Publications, where she loved getting to know many local business owners and helping them with their advertising needs. She earned the prestigious President's Club Award three times based on her excellence in sales.
Nancy enjoyed collecting antiques, flower arranging, and making hand-made gifts for her friends and family. Outside of her family and friends, she cherished her dogs; first, Freckles, and especially Abby.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 833 Main St,,Agawam on Thursday, October 3, at 11 am. A Celebration of Life will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for any donation made to the American Lung Association in Nancy's memory.
