Theresa (Terri) Bernadette Walsh (Delasandro), age 79, died on Thursday May 4, 2023 at home with family. She was born on May 6, 1943 to Pasquale and Clementina (Felli) Delasandro.
Terri, a loving mother and Nonie, is survived by her daughters, Theresa Walsh Jr., of South Hadley, MA and Tina Walsh of New London, CT, Theresa’s husband Robert Ouellette, Tina’s life partner Raul Jamon, and her grandson, Ethan Spivey. Her husband Robert Walsh predeceased her in June of 2020. She loved her husband and stood by his side through thick and thin during the 55 years they were married.
Terri was one of those “over the top” moms - she always inspired her daughters to reach for the stars and challenge themselves to chase their dreams and reach their full potential. One of the most special people in her life was her grandson, Ethan. She loved him very much - he was named “the prince” from a very young age and she doted on him well into adulthood.
Terri worked at a number of administrative jobs during her career, where she made many lifelong friends and connections. She was the hostess with the mostest - there was always room for extra people at the table for meals at holidays, or any time really.
We will always remember her as the queen of tie dye and denim and a lover of ice cream cones. We will miss her indelible sense of humor and her unwavering support of and loving care for her family and friends.
Terri had been in the care of the Hospice of the Fisher Home at her daughter Theresa’s residence.
